8-Day Luxury Nile Journey

Your 7-night Nile cruise which starts from Luxor, calls for meeting your local tour guide the next morning and he will take you on a day-long adventure to see the East Bank's historical attractions of Luxor: The splendor of the Karnak temple complex, a glorious old architecture and art piece, is the first thing that visitors to the East Bank will see. It took more than a thousand years for this great temple to come up and finally, its remains are dedicated to the Theban triad of gods, Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. After the tour, your 5-star Nile cruise will begin and you will be able to have lunch while resting. The Southern Sanctuary of the Luxor Temple will be the first stop as night falls - it is the creator of kings - the temple's silhouette is formed by the light and darkness of the surrounding area and it was built in 1400 BC. This temple was constructed by Amenhotep III and Rameses II. After the temple visit, return to the ship for a gourmet dinner and a good night's sleep.

Uplift your morning with a sumptuous breakfast, after which you are going to take a horse carriage ride with your private Egyptologist to look into the wonderful Edfu Temple. The temple that is shrouded in legend, and located in Upper Egypt's Nile west bank, was erected between 237 BC and 57 BC and narrated the divine tale of Horus' conflict with his evil uncle Set through the inscriptions on its walls. After the temple visit, have lunch and dinner at your cruise ship. You will spend the night on the cruise in Aswan with a late arrival

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

A scrumptious breakfast will be served to you, and then you will have the chance to witness still one more highlight of your 7-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan with your private Egyptologist: One of the wonders in modern engineering, the Aswan High Dam was constructed in the 1960s and '70s to support Egypt economically and to promote progress, thus making the country capable of the industrial age. The Unfinished Obelisk is a striking proof of the high-level architecture and sculpting skills in ancient Egypt. The obelisk, which was intended for the grand entrance of the Karnak Temples complex, unfortunately, suffered damage during construction and was left unfinished. Visit the bewitching Philae Temple, where the goddess Isis was worshipped and the "Myth of Osiris" was told, a very old and popular story that still attracts people. The temple was initially built by King Ptolemy II in 380-362 BC, but later on, it was moved to Agilkia Island as part of the UNESCO Nubia Campaign project in the 1970s. The campaign was necessitated by the construction of the Aswan High Dam. After the tour, you will be taken back to the cruise ship for lunch and dinner. Optional night activity: Sound and Light Show at Philae Temple (for an additional cost of $40.00 US Dollars per person)

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Having breakfast, you will be the first one to join your private Egyptologist guide who will take you for an early morning visit to the marvelous temple of Abu Simbel optional private tour (for an extra cost of $110.00 US Dollars per person). These astonishing temples were constructed by Ramses the Great (1279-1213 BCE) as a tribute to Amun, Ra, and Ptah, who were the most powerful gods in the battle of Kadesh. The temple of King Ramses II is quite impressive and is the site of the great sun festival on the 22nd of October and February every year, while the second temple is devoted to his adored wife, Queen Nefertari. Later on, you will come back to your cruise to have a delightful lunch and dinner onboard.

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The morning trip to Kom Ombo started by setting sailing and having a delightful breakfast on board the cruise. Once you reach the temple, a tour guide will accompany you and you will see the amazing double temples of the hill of gold - the Kom Ombo Temple - between 205 and 180 BC during the reign of King Ptolemy V in the Ptolemaic dynasty. The temple consisted of the worship house of Haroeris, "Horus, the Elder," in the north and Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile, in the south. After that, continue sailing to Luxor, where your arrival will be late at night. You will eat your lunch and dinner on board the cruise

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

With a knowledgeable tour guide, start your Luxor West Bank tour by visiting the famous Valley of the Kings, a stunning treasure of Ancient Egypt hidden in an underground hill. This mystical underground maze houses 63 royal tombs from the 18th to the 20th dynasty of the New Kingdom, among them the tombs of great pharaohs like Ramses the Great, Hatshepsut, Seti I, Tutankhamun, and more. Then, make your way to the lovely mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the architectural wonder that has earned its place as the holy of the holies. Constructed in 1479 BC during the New Kingdom, this temple has three huge levels that are the epitome of perfection, the immortalization of Hatshepsut's successful achievements, and the homage to Amun the creator sun god. Last but not least, visit the everlasting Colossi of Memnon. These magnificent constructions made of quartzite sandstone have undergone many renovations throughout history and are adorned with pictures on their sides showing the pharaoh's family, accomplishments, and the Nile god Hapi. Optional Activities: Optional Hot Air Ballooning over the West Bank (for an additional cost of $99.00 US Dollars per person) Optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak (for an additional cost of $40.00 US Dollars per person)

Thank you Egypt Promotion Tours!

I was really excited about going to Egypt, but I had concerns that the company might not be legitimate or that the trip wouldn’t include everything promised after making an upfront payment. To my surprise, my expectations were exceeded beyond anything I could have imagined. Cairo was a truly unique experience, and our guide made our visit to the pyramids the absolute highlight of the day. We did the Dahabiya Iris for 4 days, and we were blown away by the outstanding service from Ahmed Fouad, Ehab, and the ship’s incredible chef. I never expected such personalized and exceptional service, something that even larger cruise lines don’t provide. Highly recommended! It was a spectacular and one-of-a-kind experience. Starting from the prompt and helpful responses to every question by phone, to being picked up at the airport with a sign bearing your name, and not having to worry about a single thing until the very last day when you’re dropped off back at the airport. Egypt was the best vacation of our lives! Thank you Egypt Promotion Tours!
