Day 1 Welcome

Cairo International Airport will be the place where our Your Egypt Tours representative will meet you. We will be there to help you at the airport and thus ensure a smooth experience throughout your stay. Then, you will be driven to your hotel in a private air-conditioned car. (Optional Night Activity) Your Egypt Tours have a dinner and show at a Nile cruise for you, an Egyptian Cultural Dinner and show. This is the way to start your vacation in Egypt on a very good note and enjoy the lively nightlife of Cairo.

Day 2 Egyptian Museum

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, traverse the ages in ancient Egypt with a private tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. During the private tour, you are the one who decides how long you want to spend at each place. Your guide will first take you to these incredible spots and then leave you with time for your own exploration. You will have many options for activities to choose during your free time (with an extra charge). The pyramids' burial chambers can be accessed by you, but your guide will not accompany you. Or, you can choose to have a camel ride on the Giza Plateau while enjoying the amazing view of the pyramids and Sphinx far away. (Optional Tour) After your tour of the Giza Plateau, you may head to the Solar Boat Museum. The museum holds the funerary boat of Khufu, which is in a remarkably well-preserved state. Then, continue your tour with a visit to the Egyptian Museum. In the museum, there are thousands of artifacts that cover the entire period of ancient Egypt. These treasures include six-gold gilded coffins belonging to Tutankhamun, and the magnificent funerary mask. The tour guide will take you to the increasing interests of the museum area and then leave you for a wandering time of your own. You can go to the "Royal Mummies Room" to see how mummification was done in ancient Egypt (at an extra cost option). After finishing at the museum, there is the chance to visit the Papyrus Institute. There, you will discover the process of making papyrus paper. Finally, return to your five-star hotel in Cairo and spend the night pampering yourself with relaxation.

Day 3 Luxor and Nile Cruise

Breakfast will be served, before the check-out of your hotel and the transfer to Cairo airport. Then, you will take a short flight to Luxor, and after that, you will check in to your Nile Cruise. After the check-in, an Egyptologist guide will accompany you to visit the Karnak Temples, which is the largest place of worship ever built. This temple complex dates back over 2,000 years and stretches across several Pharaohs' eras in terms of building and expansion. Through the complex, you will get to the grand “Hypostyle Hall”, where a stunning forest of huge pillars is! Upon completion of that, you will go back to the Luxor Temple and see the shrines of Amenhotep III and Ramses II where this temple was used for rituals and celebrations. The temple is adorned with colossal Ramses II statues that greet you at the entrance. The temple's inner walls and columns are lavishly embellished with hieroglyphics.

Day 4 Luxor and Nile Cruise

As you move to the west bank of the Nile, have your breakfast on board your Nile Cruise while visiting the Colossi of Memnon. Next, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the site of the discovery of the magnificent tombs of the pharaohs. Here you can opt to visit the tomb of Tutankhamun (for an additional fee). Having visited the Valley of the Kings, make your way to the stunning Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Your guide will walk you through the temple and give you a great insight into its history. Then return to your cruise ship for lunch. Take the rest of the afternoon for relaxation as you enjoy your free time aboard your luxury cruise. Night Activity Optional: Sound and Light Show at the Temple of Karnak

Day 5 Aswan and Nile Cruise

Having had breakfast on the Nile cruise ship, you will go to the impressively restored Ptolemaic Temple, which was devoted to the Gods Horus at Edfu. Later on, you will navigate to Kom Ombo to marvel at the Temple of Sobek, which was dedicated to the crocodile-headed God of fertility and world creator. After the tour, you will be served lunch on the cruise and continue your trip to Aswan.

Day 6 Aswan – Nile Cruise

After breakfast at your Nile Cruise, you will spend the day visiting places in Aswan. The well-known river Nile will take you to the world of ancient Egyptian civilization. In the morning, you will meet your Egyptologist guide, who will help you during the famous tour of the Aswan High Dam. It is one of the most impressive engineering works of the 20th century, and it had a big impact on the Nile floods and the whole region. Later, you will walk to the Unfinished Obelisk, which has stayed at the place where it was first cut. Then take a step over to Agilkia Island to admire the lovely Temple of Philae, which was dedicated to both Isis the goddess of fertility, and Hathor, the goddess of love and beauty. Then you will be given a ride around Elephantine Island on a local felucca boat after the sightseeing tour. You will see a lot of interesting sights during riding this local sailboat. A Nubian village will be your last stop where you will be given a chance to have a traditional lunch with a local family.

Day 7 Aswan, Abu Simbel, Cairo

You will get off the Nile Cruise after having your breakfast and then you will go to the temples in Abu Simbel. The two temples were first built on the mountain's face during Ramses II's reign and he and his wife, Queen Nefertari, were the ones they were dedicated to. An Egyptologist will accompany you to tell the story of the place, and then, after the guided tour, you will be given free time to visit the temple and see it from the inside. when you finish your visit to Abu Simbel, you will have to come back to Aswan Airport in order to fly to Cairo. After arriving in Cairo, you will be taken to your hotel for registration. Your day in the afternoon will be spent visiting the Coptic area of Cairo and observing the Christian antiquities starting with the Hanging Church. The church is built over the southern entrance of the Babylon Fortress. The church is of the Virgin Mary and has a lot of history behind it and is of great importance. You will have a visit to the Hanging Church and then you will be driven to the bustling Khan el Khalili Bazaar to end your tour. The bazaar is full of local sellers each selling their own different products. You will be allowed to wonder around the bazaar and buy anything that might catch your eye. As an option, you can sit down at the world-famous "El Fishawy" coffee house and savor a cup of tea.

Day 8 Departure

After the first meal of the day at your hotel, you will perform the check-out procedure, and then go to Cairo International Airport for your last departure as per the provided itinerary.

I was really excited about going to Egypt, but I had concerns that the company might not be legitimate or that the trip wouldn’t include everything promised after making an upfront payment.
