Karak which is also referred to as Al-Karak is a city in central Jordan that is at the same time very historical and very dramatically placed on a rocky hill. The city is under the big shadow of its Crusader castle and is narrating stories of the battles, kings, and empires that once existed in this region.

The castle which is Karak, was built in the 12th century, is considered one of the best-preserved Crusader fortress of the Middle East. The visitors are free to wander through the enormous underground passages, the high walls, and even see the exhibits that portray the castle’s conflict-stricken history.
