3-Day Cairo Journey

3-Day Cairo Journey

Day 1 The Great Pyramid of Giza

When you enter Egypt, you will meet our representative at Taba Border, who will help you to the car that will transport you to Cairo. Our first stop will be the most well-known places in Cairo: The Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx (a mute witness to the great civilization but so talking). Besides, we will visit the store that sells Papyrus, where we will see the making of Papyrus done by ancient methods. In the night, we will enjoy Dinner Cruise on the Nile.

Day 2 Egyptian Museum & Khan el Khalili Bazaar

The first point of our itinerary is “Egyptian Museum” (the visit will not include the Mummies Room). Here, a multitude of treasures including various items made of gold, bronze, alabaster, silver, and other materials from the most glorious period of Egypt is on show. Furthermore, you will get to take a short trip to the Coptic area of Cairo where the Romans built the fortress of Babylon. The church of St. Mary, also known as the Hanging Church, is situated over the remains of two of the fortress’s towers. Then, you will go to St. Sergius which is rumored to be the place where the holy family rested, and in the afternoon you will get to wander around the famous market area of the Khan el Khalili Bazaar. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3 Sakkara

Breakfast at your hotel is the first thing we do in the morning and then we continue our day with a drive to Sakkara, the old “Necropolis” of Memphis, the Capital of the Old Kingdom where we are planning to visit a couple of pyramids and tombs including the well-known “Step Pyramid”, the oldest pyramid that is known. Going towards the afternoon we will take you to the Taba Border Crossing. After the border has been crossed, you will get a transfer back to the Taba border.

Transfer Taba-Cairo-Taba by air-conditioned coaches.
Admission and Egyptologist guide through the historical sites (the guide language upon request).
Lunch provided in the course of the visits.
Water in bottles for the tourists during the tour.

Notes

Keep in mind that the tour plan and sequence might be changed.
Reservations for this tour should be made no later than 24 hours before the date of travel.
You will get a tour confirmation right after you make the reservation.
An adult has to be there with a child at all times.
If you let us know at the time of booking, we will provide you with an infant seat.
Tours last about the same time but the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic.
A vegetarian meal can be ordered, just let us know when booking if you want it.

Thank you Egypt Promotion Tours!

I was really excited about going to Egypt, but I had concerns that the company might not be legitimate or that the trip wouldn’t include everything promised after making an upfront payment.
