Cap Spartel is a picturesque promontory situated approximately 14 kilometers to the west of Tangier. It has been representing the metaphorical point of the Atlantic Ocean along with the Mediterranean Sea. The place is known for its historic lighthouse, besides the ocean views, it has also been a vital maritime landmark for a long time.
