8-Day Amalfi Coast Hiking Adventure from Bomerano

The hotel location allows guests to reach the village square which has a triangular shape in Bomerano. The circular route provides a good chance to stretch our legs; following a mixture of paths and tracks we reach the peak of Monte Tre Calli which gives us stunning views of the coastal cliffs and the endless ocean. The Agerola Plain and Bomerano area can be seen from our location which allows us to see Capri island during clear weather because it has been a secret retreat for famous artists and writers during the last 200 years. After viewing the beautiful landscape you should go down to Bomerano where Hotel Due Torri offers lunch service which includes a traditional meal with wine for the table at additional cost. The entire afternoon period has been designated as free time for people to relax until dinner time.

From the hotel, it’s a short stroll to the village square which serves as the starting point for today’s walk. The circular route provides a good chance to stretch our legs through a combination of paths and tracks until we reach the summit of Monte Tre Calli which gives us a view of both the jagged coastline and the endless blue ocean. The Agerola Plain and Bomerano are laid out below us and, on a clear day, we can see as far as Capri, an idyllic island hideout for many celebrated artists and writers over the past 200 years. After enjoying the beautiful scenery, you should go down to Bomerano where Hotel Due Torri serves lunch at an additional fee which includes a traditional meal with wine for the entire table. The remainder of the afternoon is free to rest before dinner.

meals Breakfast, Dinner

The British have visited Amalfi since the Edwardian era when wealthy people considered it an attractive destination for their winter vacations. The route has a downhill bias, following the path from Bomerano at 2,297ft (700m) to the Mediterranean shores, accompanied by wonderful coastal views. The day presents 2,000 steps for walking but offers multiple chances to take breaks and move at your desired speed. The town showcases a large duomo (cathedral) that dominates the area with its brightly tiled cupola (dome) and baroque architectural style which represents the common building design of that region. The visitors should take time to discover the town which offers a small bay for swimming and a gelato shop before their transfer back to Bomerano.

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The Vesuvius slopes lead us to the volcanic crater which provides a view of the Bay of Naples that stretches from the regional capital of Naples to the town of Sorrento which is famous for its lemon groves. The tour permits an optional expert volcanologist to guide visitors through the caldera and its surrounding area during specific weather conditions. After lunch, we will take a bus to Pompeii. The volcano's lower foothills hosted a prosperous port city until Vesuvius erupted for two days during 79CE which resulted in the city being buried under ash and pumice. After 1,700 years of abandonment it has become a UNESCO World Heritage site because its preserved remains display an exceptional view of Roman city life that includes bathhouses and bakeries and homes which feature walls decorated with intricate frescoes. The site opens for your afternoon visit, where you can select between a complete tour or a local guide's detailed exploration.

meals Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The walk begins in Ravello which attracts artists and intellectuals because its remote location provides stunning views of nature. We will have free time to explore the town and discover Villa Cimbrone or Villa Rufolo which features their beautiful gardens and ocean views before we start our walk. The route today consists of a downhill path which includes multiple staircases. We start our journey from Pontone village after making a brief stop to walk through wooden bridges and shaded paths that display seasonal wildflowers until we reach the stunning moss-covered waterfalls inside Valle delle Ferriere nature reserve. The path leads us through lemon groves and we cross the remains of old paper mills which operated from the 12th to 19th centuries and medieval ironworks until we finally reach Amalfi.

We take one of the finest walks on the planet. The hotel exit leads us through peaceful Bomerano until we reach the Path of the Gods which displays some of the worlds most beautiful paths. The Path of the Gods leads through natural scenery which includes dangerous cliffs that contain miniature villages and show vast views of the shining Mediterranean Sea.

The path advances through both hills and coastal areas which follow the natural shape of the land. The trail offers glimpses of rural activities while visitors proceed to shepherd huts and ancient stone houses that have been built into the limestone. We descend a long series of steps to reach Positano which exists as an almost vertical town that has been built along the rockface of a protected bay.

Visitors should take time to discover the narrow streets that feature wisteria and high-end shops or they can swim in the ocean before returning to Bomerano by boat and bus (seasonal) in the late afternoon.

Our dinner plans include a visit to a family-operated mozzarella factory where we will witness the traditional process of making smoked cheese and enjoy tasting their exceptionally fresh cheese.

The hotel provides a second home experience for us because this morning marks our final stay at the hotel. The hotel staff allows you to stay in their facilities after you check out if your flight departs later tonight and you want to have lunch in their dining area. Your sales representative can assist you in planning your additional time in Sorrento and other locations if you want to expand your travel experience.

Thank you Egypt Promotion Tours!

I was really excited about going to Egypt, but I had concerns that the company might not be legitimate or that the trip wouldn’t include everything promised after making an upfront payment. To my surprise, my expectations were exceeded beyond anything I could have imagined. Cairo was a truly unique experience, and our guide made our visit to the pyramids the absolute highlight of the day. We did the Dahabiya Iris for 4 days, and we were blown away by the outstanding service from Ahmed Fouad, Ehab, and the ship’s incredible chef. I never expected such personalized and exceptional service, something that even larger cruise lines don’t provide. Highly recommended! It was a spectacular and one-of-a-kind experience. Starting from the prompt and helpful responses to every question by phone, to being picked up at the airport with a sign bearing your name, and not having to worry about a single thing until the very last day when you’re dropped off back at the airport. Egypt was the best vacation of our lives! Thank you Egypt Promotion Tours!
