Experience the most thrilling adventure in the form of the 8-day Nile River Expedition and Chimp Trek Safari. The expedition will take you through the amazing and picturesque Uganda which alone is a reason to visit the country.
The first stop on your itinerary is Entebbe and Kampala, and then Jinja. In Jinja, you will get to go and see Sezibwa Falls, hike through the Mabira Forest and take a boat ride to the Source of the Nile, which is the longest river on the planet.
After that, the next leg of the trip will be the Grade-5 rafting, and there will be available optional; activities like riding on a quad bike, jumping from a tower, or playing on a horse near the Nile.

The tour will bring you to the north through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary up to Murchison Falls National Park which is the biggest wildlife reserve in Uganda and the most amazing one at that. Part of the experience will be through driving in the park and encountering elephants, lions, and giraffes with the Nile boat cruise taking you to the base of the falls, and besides that, you will be treated to incredible views of Murchison Falls where the river goes through a small gorge and burst out with huge amounts of water.

Next on your journey is west toward Kibale National Park, which is known for having the highest number of chimpanzees in the world.

Planned Activity: Grade 5 White-Water Rafting – Get to the River Nile basecamp at 08:30AM for a briefing before you begin a 4-5 hour rafting trip over 19 km of thrilling rapids with a lot of excitement going on. Start off with the easy grade-2 rapids to heat up for the heart-stopping grade-5 rapids that are waiting for you, testing both your courage and teamwork. During the journey, make a stop to see the magnificent Itanda Falls, where the river releases its might and beauty in an astonishing way. What to bring along: swimming shorts, t-shirt or long sleeves, sunscreen, a change of clothes, and a metallic water bottle to keep hydrated. Journey time: Approx. 7 Hours Pick-up Time: 06:00AM. After an early breakfast at the hotel, get ready for your trip to Murchison Falls National Park – Your lunch is set at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Planned Activity: On the way to Masindi 05 Hour Drive out of Jinja, make a very nice stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you will have the exciting chance to track endangered rhinos on foot, getting in touch with the sights and sounds of the sanctuary. From Ziwa, go ahead and continue your trip to Murchison Falls National Park. After you enter the park, drive directly to the top of Murchison Falls, where the raging waters of the Nile produce a fantastic, permanent rainbow above the gorge. Get on a safe viewing deck and experience the might of the falling river below—such a magnificent sight that it is perfectly clear why Murchison Falls is a must-visit place for most tourists.
