Entebbe located on the northern shores of Lake Victoria is one of the most peaceful and beautiful destinations in Uganda. The lakefront tranquilness is the main reason why Entebbe is so beautiful. The soft ripples caused by Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa, are the most relaxing sounds for people who are riding on boats, fishing, and going on sunset cruises. The Entebbe Botanical Gardens of the town which were founded in the 19th century are another ukhtoragation of lush nature filled with tropical plants, birds, and cheeky monkeys—ideal for a slow stroll or a picnic under the shade of trees.
