Day 1 Welcome to Entebbe: Private Transfer to Your Hotel

As soon as you land at Entebbe International Airport, and after having your immigration papers checked, our committed safari guide will greet you very kindly right at the door of the arrivals exit. Then, you will get a thorough briefing regarding your trip, and afterward, you will be driven to your hotel for check-in and free time. Day 2 Kasese Arrival & Chimpanzee Tracking at Kibale Forest

Flight Duration: Approx. 2 hours
Pickup Time: 06:00 AM

The first step in your 5-Day Uganda Safari Tours will be a flight to Kasese, with a transfer from your hotel to the Airport in Entebbe after breakfast. The road to Kibale Forest will be the next stop after landing. The Bigodi Community experience, a cultural encounter that includes a traditional coffee experience, tasting banana beer and local spirits, viewing local arts and crafts, cultural songs and dances, and learning about indigenous herbs (subject to change), will be one of your highlights. A meal will be prepared for you at Tinka’s Homestead.

Later on, the highlight of the day - Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking - will take place. After a briefing at 02:00 PM, the trek will start at 02:30 PM through the lush rainforest to view chimpanzees among other animals like birds and forest wildlife. A trained ranger will accompany you and will discuss the chimps, the forest, and the eco-tourism in the area. It is advisable to carry the following items: hiking boots, long pants, a face mask, insect repellent, gloves, and drinking water.

Upon completion of the trek, you will be taken to the lodge for check-in, if it is dinner time, you can have your meal at your favorite restaurant.

Day 3 Picturesque Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Journey Time: Approx. 06 Hours Pickup Time: 07:00AM. Acknowledge the new day with an early breakfast at the lodge, then proceed to check-out. Take off on a scenic trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, with the spectacular views to savor during the 5-Day Uganda Safari Tours. During the local restaurant stop, lunch will be served to you. The lodge will be reached in the late afternoon, where you will be able to check in and refresh yourselves before having dinner at your own convenience.

Day 4 Gorilla Tracking Experience with a Leisurely Evening

Pickup Time: 06:30 AM Early morning breakfast will be packed in a lunchbox with mineral water for the trek. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

Main Activity: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking
After completing park formalities, begin the trek through dense jungle and rocky trails, following experienced trackers to find a gorilla family led by a dominant silverback. Spend 1–2 hours observing, photographing, and learning about the behavior of these gentle giants in their natural habitat—an unforgettable wildlife experience.

A ranger will select a safe spot for a picnic lunch during the excursion before continuing the trek or returning to the lodge. Essential items include sturdy hiking boots, long pants, long-sleeved clothing, gloves, a face mask, insect repellent, and drinking water.

Later, return to the lodge and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure.

Full Board

Day 5 Departure from Entebbe Airport

Flight Duration: Around 2 Hours Pickup Time: 06:30AM – Get up to have an early breakfast at the lodge and then do the check-out with your packed lunch. You will be then taken to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe (ETD: 08:30 | ETA: 11:25). After you reach Entebbe, go ahead with the flight check-in for your next journey. In case your flight is late in the day, you could either ask for a dayroom with transfers or participate in an optional excursion In your 5-Day Uganda Safari Tours to take full advantage of your time. Optional Activity (costs 70$ per person): Go on the Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Tour, a wonderful chance to see the unusual and ancient-looking shoebill stork in its natural environment.
