10-Day Uganda Safari & Chimpanzee Habituation Tour

Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Hotel Transfer

Journey time: Approx 1 Hour As soon as you touch down at Entebbe International Airport, one of our representatives will be waiting for you and will take you to your hotel in Entebbe. You will check in and then have some free time to relax and recharge for your Uganda tours that is about to begin.

Day 2 Sipi Falls Hike & Coffee Experience

Journey Duration: Around 6 Hours Pickup Time: 06:00AM. Have an early morning meal at the hotel, check-out, and take off for Sipi Falls – Kapchorwa. Reach the lodge for lunch and afterwards, visit the main attractions of Sipi Falls. Later afternoon activities: Sipi Falls Guided Hike –Take a beautiful hike to see the three levels of Sipi Falls, and in 10-Day Uganda Safari & Chimpanzee Habituation Tour have the most amazing views of the waterfalls, green valleys and the whole region. Sipi Falls Coffee Experience –Go to the coffee farms in Sipi/Kapchorwa and learn the entire process of getting the best Arabica coffee, from growing and picking to roasting and brewing, and also have it hot and fresh.

Optional Activities –For the thrill-seekers, you can either join the Sipi Runners Experience, where you run like a local athlete, or try your luck rappelling down the waterfall cliff. Later return to the lodge at night and relax as you wish.

Day 3 Journey to Kidepo Valley National Park Safari Adventure

Journey time: Approx. 7 Hours Pickup Time: 06:30AM. Start the day with an early lodge breakfast, then pack up and get your packed lunchboxes for a picnic En-route to Kidepo Valley National Park. The drive is remarkably scenic and you will enjoy changing landscapes and the local people living in the remoteness, thereby getting a good view of the unspoiled beauty of northern Uganda. After reaching the place, you have to check in at your lodge and the rest of the afternoon is your free time.

Day 4 Bush Breakfast | Game Drive | Karamojong Cultural Experience

Pickup Time: 06:30 AM. Get up early and transfer to the park for a scenic bush breakfast site as your first day’s refreshment starter | Lunch and dinner in the lodge. Planned Activities: Bush Breakfast in Kidepo National Park – Start the day with an extraordinary outdoor breakfast in the midst of the African wilderness, while the park reveals its beauty with all the sights and sounds of the wildlife. Guided Game Drive in the Kidepo Wilderness through the Narus Valley – Get acquainted with one of the least known safari destinations in Africa, where the wildlife encounters are not only with zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, and leopards but also against the impressive scenery of the Mount Morungole Ranges and the expansive savannah plains. Day 5 Venture into the Untamed Wilderness of Kidepo

Pickup Time: 06:30AM. in 10-Day Uganda Safari & Chimpanzee Habituation Tour Start your day with an early breakfast at the lodge, with picnic lunches prepared for your adventure. Today, embark on a full-day safari that takes you deep into the wild, all the way to the Uganda–South Sudan border, a unique region famed for its ostrich populations. Traverse the wide open spaces of Kidepo, head towards the Kanangorok Hot Springs where the area is very colorful and alive with animals. Here, you will have a guided walk, enjoy the picturesque landscape, and take amazing wildlife pictures. Your skilled ranger will help you in locating lions and other great animals while also watching out for elephants, leopards, duikers, jackals, bushbucks, bush pigs, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birds. Every twist and turn of the path will bring you closer to amazing wildlife encounters and great memories in one of Uganda’s wildest regions. Return to the lodge is planned for the late evening.

Day 6 Traveling through Gulu City to Murchison Falls National Park

Time taken for travel: Roughly 07 Hours Time of Pickup: 06:30AM. After having a very early breakfast and checking out, start your trip to Murchison Falls National Park from Kidepo, with lunch planned at a restaurant. En route, relish a cultural and historical break at Fort Patiko (Baker’s Fort), which once served as a fortress in the colonial period. You will reach the park by evening and get accommodation in your lodge, with dinner and a pleasant overnight stay waiting for you.

Day 7 Guided Game Drive | Top of the Falls Viewing | Waterfall Cruise

Pickup Time: 06:30AM. The day begins with a very early breakfast, and then at sunrise the most thrilling game drive of the day is set, when the savannah is full of wildlife at its most active and it is taking place during the best time of day. Planned Activities: Morning Guided Game Drive at sunrise - in 10-day uganda safari The park wakes up together with you, watching the activity of the wildlife in the early morning period over the savannah, and there is the possibility of spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and other famous species. Day 8 Journey to Kibale National Park

Journey Time: Approx. 07 Hours Pickup Time: 07:00AM. Early breakfast at the lodge should be your first meal of the day and then you can go on a beautiful drive to Kibale National Park – Main stop at Hoima City where a scrumptious lunch will be waiting for you at the local restaurant. Arrival at your lodge will be in the late afternoon, and you will be free to unwind and immerse yourself in the quietly beautiful place-no planned activities.

Day 9 Kibale Forest: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience

Pickup time: 06:30 AM. Your morning will start with the lodge's early breakfast then a park briefing before your chimpanzee habituation expedition. Today's best Experience: Chimpanzee Habituation Experience – First, the participants get briefed and then a team of researchers, rangers, and trackers join you as you go into the forest's heart. In contrast to mountain gorillas, chimpanzees take up to three years of habituation before they can be safely observed, and thus, the encounter is highly rare. Uganda has around 4,950 chimps, and 1,500 of them reside in the forested area of Kibale National Park which is rich in flora and fauna. For the next 4 to 5 hours, you will be slowly moving through the forest where you will be lost in a world full of sounds that include the rustling of leaves, melodious hoots, and the squeaky voices of curious chimps. These intelligent primates will be your guides as they jump about, wrestle, and even show their different personalities in their social groups—every second offers a close view into their vibrant lives which in turn connects you with the untouched wildness of the forest. What to take along: a packed lunch and mineral water, tough hiking shoes, a face mask, gaiters, bug spray, a waterproof jacket, long-sleeved shirt and pants, and binoculars for getting glimpses of the special birds. After the chimp habituation experience, you will have the rest of the evening to do as you please.

Day 10 Entebbe Airport Transfer and Departure

Travel duration: Roughly 06 Hours Collection Time: 07:00AM or before. Following breakfast at the lodge, check-out will be done and then you will depart Kibale for Entebbe Airport, with lunch provided at a local restaurant along the route. We suggest that you book any flight departing from 05:00PM or later end your 10-day uganda safari.
