The 5-Day Gorillas in Uganda Tour and Cultural Encounter begins from Entebbe and continues to the Equator and the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The expert rangers will guide you through mountain gorilla tracking which allows you to observe their social relationships from a close distance. The authentic cultural experience includes visiting local farms, where you will participate in the harvesting and cooking activities, and then explore the villages and schools. The safari concludes with a scenic flight which brings travelers back to Entebbe while they retain their unforgettable memories of Uganda's wildlife and beautiful landscapes and friendly people.
After passing through immigration and customs at Entebbe International Airport, our driver will be waiting for you and your luggage just outside the passengers’ arrival hall and will give you a friendly welcome together with our safari guide. He will then tell you all about the journey in detail and take you to the hotel for check-in and total relaxation to come.

Duration of Flight: about 2 Hours Pick-up Time: 06:00AM. Early breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch the flight to Kasese. After arrival, drive transfer to Kibale Forest. After reaching Kibale, get ready for the Bigodi Community tour—a colorful and lively cultural engagement that will include activities like: taking part in a traditional coffee ceremony, tasting banana beer and local spirits, making and purchasing unique arts and crafts, receiving cultural songs and dances, and gaining knowledge about the medicinal herbs. (This activity is very likely to be changed). After your cultural visit, enjoy tasty meals at Tinka's Homestead. Afternoon Adventure: Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking –At 02:00PM after a briefing, you will start your spectacular trek in the lush chimp habitat forest at 02:30PM. The winding trails will take you to the chimpanzees' home where they'll be seen being playful and having fun with one another. The forest is full of Sounds and sights, exotic birds making their melodic calls, and other wildlife hiding among the trees. And accompanied by a ranger, you will get to know the forest and the wildlife within it better.

Pickup Time: 06:30AM. Following an early breakfast, you will receive a packed lunch and a bottle of water to put in your backpack, and then you will be the one to have already proceeded to the park office. Scheduled activity: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking Adventure – Go on a remarkable trip into the mysterious heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and experience the endangered mountain gorillas up short. An expert ranger and capable scouts will bring you along the winding, foggy trails that snake through the jungle, which is now more than just a place with birds, animal rustlings, and the ground of the forest smelling earthy.
In your 5-Day Gorillas in Uganda Tour The excitement rises at every step till you finally find a gorilla family in a place that is their own. You can now spend an hour or two marveling at the gorillas and taking photos of them—they are so gentle that it is hard not to call it a close, changing experience that goes beyond a mere trek and places you in one of the world’s most extraordinary ecosystems. During the hike, your guide will pick a peaceful spot for a picnic lunch before you go on or return to the lodge (this may change). For your convenience and security, wear good hiking boots, long pants, long-sleeved shirts, a hat, and gloves, and also carry insect repellent and water. Later, go back to the lodge, and relax before the delicious dinner.

The day's program of today's excursion: "A Day in rural Uganda" at Lake Mutanda–Start your day with a peaceful dugout canoe ride on the calm waters of Chameleon Bay while the morning mist gives way to stunning views of the lake! in 5-Day Gorillas in Uganda Tour Here you will be greeted by a friendly local farming family and you will get to see and feel an intimate, hands-on cultural experience. You will go into their fields to pick the fresh produce like potatoes, pumpkins, or seasonal fruits and then you will join the family in cooking a traditional Ugandan meal which will be your lunch together. Later in the day, walk through the village with a guide and visit a local school and a trading center, thus getting a rare view of everyday life in real rural Uganda. This special experience will give you a powerful bond with the earth, the people, and their unbroken traditions— a memory not to be missed for the sophisticated travelers! In the evening, you will come back to your lodge for relaxing and freshening up, and then dinner and overnight will be delightful and restful.
