Among the main attractions are the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Kandt House Museum, the summit of Mount Kigali for breathtaking views, and a local market where you can see the daily life of Rwandans.
Afterwards, head to Volcanoes National Park, where lunch will be provided. The visit to the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village in the afternoon will give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in Rwandan culture and to witness the enchanting traditional practices, the storytelling and the locals’ entertainment. The lodge will be your place for dinner and an overnight stay.

Pick-up: 5:00 am. Start the day with a very early breakfast, packed lunch, and bottled water; receive a short briefing from the park headquarters and set off for your gorilla hike. Follow the ranger guides through the light mountain forest on the slopes made by Virunga Mountains' rangers to look for a family of endangered mountain gorillas.
Spend this one hour viewing, photographing, and interacting with these endangered mountain gorillas. Enjoy your lunch in the form of a picnic prior to or after the return from tracking; lounge in the lodge for a holiday and restore your energy. Wearing long hiking boots, trousers, and gloves is the best safety-first strategy, and bringing sufficient water because the rainforest can be hot and humid.
