Day 1 Kasbahs and Oases of the High Atlas Adventure

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation at 9am. On the first leg of your 4-day Morocco Desert Tour, you’ll travel through the high atlas mountains of Tizi N’tichka. Enjoy breathtaking views and explore the Berber villages. Enjoy lunch in one of the local restaurants that serve very fresh tajines and barbecue meat (lamb or beef). After the pass, leave the principal route to reach Kasbah Telouet (Kasbah Glaoui Pacha of Marrakech). Follow the lovely Ounila Valley to the Ait Ben Haddou UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit this fortified village, which has served as the setting for many worldwide films for years. It is effectively a living museum with a large number of residences. After, we leave towards the Agdez oasis for an overnight stay in one of its tranquil guesthouses.

Day 2 Rissani, Tafilalt Oasis & Sahara Desert Camel Trek Experience

Leave Agdz and head towards Rissani. This town is of historical importance and once marked the crossroads of the West African caravan routes and is the origin of the establishment of the Alaouite dynasty (17th Century), the dynasty that still holds power in Morocco today. Here is where you can experience authentic local culture. trying the specialty of the Berber pizza. the best part is that you can buy the meat directly from the butcher and take it to the bakery to bake the Medfouna (berber pizza) for you. After lunch, we’ll travel through the scenic Tafilalt Oasis to reach the Sahara Desert. Day 3 Natural Wonders of Todra Gorges and Dades Valley

By the end of the day, the stunning Sahara Desert will be left behind as the highlight of the day will be the adventure through the wonderful forms of nature at the Todra Gorges and the Dades Valley interspersed with breathtaking canyon views. You will cross the Dades River and enter the valley, where a peaceful guesthouse in the gorge will be your accommodation for the night.

Day 4 Dades Valley, Kasbah Amridil, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, Marrakech

Before the crossing of the High Atlas Mountains, a visit to some of the south of Morocco’s most interesting kasbah monuments will be made on the way to Marrakech. Discover the picturesque Kasbah Amridil and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou in Skoura. Experience the stunning views of Berber villages amid fertile river valleys and watch the dramatic transformation as the landscape changes from dry pre-Saharan soil to cold alpine summits and verdant farmlands. Traverse the spectacular Tichka Pass and slowly go down to the Marrakech plains, expected to arrive around 6 PM.
