Ultimate Morocco Discovery Tour – 14 Days

Your private 15 days in Morocco starts in Casablanca where you’ll meet your driver at the airport waiting for you. You will have a private transfer to the hotel in the center of Casablanca where you’ll spend the night including bed and breakfast.

Today after your breakfast, we’ll visit the Hassan second Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Then we’ll leave for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we’ll explore the main historical sites including the Oudaya Kasbah, the Mausoleum of Mohammed five and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an incomplete mosque. have lunch, then we drive towards Tangier. Tangier is a bustling Moroccan port city located at the northernmost tip of Africa, on the Strait of Gibraltar, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea..

After your breakfast, start your visit to tangier such as medina, Hercules cave and cap spartel where the two oceans of the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet each other, then we drive to Chefchaouen. enjoy the evening at leisure and have dinner in one of the area's authentic restaurants. Chefchaouen is famous for its narrow blue-painted streets, artisan shops, and mountain views, Chefchaouen is a must-see highlight in any Morocco itinerary.

Today, we will pick you up from the riad in Chefchaouen and start driving towards Volubilis crossing Wazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis you will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Moroccan history. After the visit of the ruins you will shift our way to Meknes, the seventeenth century heritage site where you will stop for lunch and hang around the medina and Bab el Mansour. Then, we will drive you to Fes, where you will spend the night.

On the third day of your 2 weeks in Morocco itinerary, you will start exploring Fes, the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and little streets. Your visit will start by entering through the Royal Palace gate, and continuing with the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco which dates back to the sixteenth century. We will ensure that you visit all cultural and historical sites including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes.

Depart early toward Merzouga, through Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you may just spot Barbary Monkeys. Then we’ll travel through the scenic Ziz Valley to reach the Sahara Desert. Once you arrive, you’ll begin your camel trek through the dunes, catching a stunning Sahara sunset, and then settle into a traditional desert camp complete with traditional music and a fire.

Leave the Sahara Desert behind and visit the lively Rissani market, where you can experience authentic local culture. It is possible to try the berber pizza, you can buy the meat directly from the butcher and take it to the bakery to bake the Medfouna (berber pizza) for you. Continue your journey through the dramatic Todra Gorges and the scenic Dades Valley, admiring the striking canyon landscapes along the way. Cross the Dades River and reach the heart of the valley, where you’ll spend the night in a tranquil lodge surrounded in the middle of the gorge.

On the eighth day of your private 14 day Morocco itinerary , immerse yourself in the authentic Berber lifestyle of Morocco. Take a guided walking tour through a traditional Berber village, visit a local family, and discover how they live and experience the authentic Moroccan lifestyle. Return to your guesthouse to relax and soak in the breathtaking scenery of the valley.

Visit some of the south of Morocco’s most intriguing kasbah monuments, en-route to Marrakech, before crossing the High Atlas mountains. The Kasbah Amridil at Skoura, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, and the Telouet Kasbah. Enjoy the patchwork of Berber villages in the river valleys in this region and the contrast of colors as the scenery changes; from arid pre-Saharan to alpine to farmland and olive groves. Cross the mountains at the Tichka Pass and gradually descend to the plain of Marrakech, expecting to arrive around 5pm.. . Arrive the city by evening, and explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna square on your own.

On this day, after breakfast, you will have a day tour to discover Marrakech. By Immersing yourself in the red city and During your tour you will have Lunch in the Medina , you will visit the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech such as the 19th century Bahia Palace,the 16th century Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque ,the Majorelle Garden . In the morning, take a drive along the picturesque Atlantic coast of Morocco to Casablanca. Have a nice seafood lunch with a view of the lagoon and, if you like, go for a short canoe ride in the lagoon. You will reach Casablanca before sunset.
