8-day Morocco Tour From Casablanca

We’ll pick you up from the airport of Mohammed V or your accommodation in Casablanca, starting our 8-day Morocco Tour from Casablanca by exploring the largest mosque in Morocco (Hassan || Mosque), which is the only one that allows visitors to get inside in a private group guided tour. After, we drive to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, where we’ll have lunch and start our visit to Hassan Tower and Kasbah Oudayas. In the afternoon, check in to your accommodation and continue exploring the medina of Rabat at leisure.

After you enjoy your breakfast, our 8-day Morocco Tour will take you on a journey to the city of Chefchaouen, Morocco. You will stay at the Blue Pearl once we arrive and head out to have dinner in one of the area's authentic restaurants. Chefchaouen is famous for its narrow blue-painted streets, artisan shops, and mountain views. Chefchaouen is a must-see highlight in any Morocco itinerary.

We’ll leave Chefchaouen to head to Fes via Volubilis. Take in the sights of popular Roman ruins and so much more. Our tour leaves at noon, giving you plenty of time to explore the medina of Chefchaouen on foot in the morning. Once we leave, you’ll enjoy a guided tour exploring the Mauritanian capital, founded in the 3rd century B.C., which became an important outpost of the Roman Empire and was graced with many fine buildings. We will arrive at Fes in the early evening. Check in to your accommodation before heading to enjoy a dinner in one of the local restaurants in the medina.

Immerse yourself in the magic of Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco. Start at the beautiful gates of the Royal Palace, then head into the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Stroll into the oldest functioning university in the world, the University of Al Quarawiyine, and marvel at its lasting heritage. From here, we will head to the Attarine Museum and the sacred Moulay Idriss Mausoleum to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the ancient Fes Medina. Depart early toward Merzouga, through Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou, where you may just spot Barbary Monkeys. Then we’ll travel through the scenic Ziz Valley to reach the Sahara Desert. Once you arrive, you’ll begin your camel trek through the dunes, catching a stunning Sahara sunset, and then settle into a traditional desert camp complete with traditional music and a fire.

Leave the desert behind you and explore the market of Rissani, continuing toward the dramatic Todra and Dades Gorges. Later, we follow the direction of the Dades River west to reach the Skoura oasis, with the Atlas mountains still visible to the north. Overnight in Skoura Oasis in the middle of the palm trees in one of its tranquil lodges.

Visit some of the south of Morocco’s most intriguing kasbah monuments, en route to Marrakech, before crossing the High Atlas mountains. The Kasbah Amridil at Skoura, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, and the Telouet Kasbah. Enjoy the patchwork of Berber villages in the river valleys in this region and the contrast of colors as the scenery changes from arid pre-Saharan to alpine to farmland and olive groves. Cross the mountains at the Tichka Pass and gradually descend to the plain of Marrakech, expecting to arrive around 5pm. Arrive the city by evening, and explore the famous Jemaa el-Fna square on your own

On this day, after breakfast, you will have a half-day tour to discover Marrakech, visiting the most beautiful palaces and monuments of Marrakech, such as the 19th-century Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Majorelle Garden. You will also visit the famous souks, where the merchants sell everything from leather, clothes, spices, and kaftans. Later on, Departure will be arranged according to your flight time at the ending of your 8-day Morocco Tour Package.
